Celebrate Australia
I’m a proud Australian and I would love a national day to celebrate Australia. In unity. On a day that can be meaningful and inclusive for all who live here.

Moments of Reflection
These are the Moments of Reflective Thought, which bring a deeper understanding of Life and our place in the world.
The Moments where we press pause on life and take time for personal reflection play an important role in our lives. Not just for personal growth, but for healing.
These are the Moments to ask What If?
The times where we look back, we look to the future and we look at the now.
Looking back helps us to see how far we’ve come. It shows us what we’ve learnt and often it’s in the looking back that we are able to identify the people and the lessons that are the most important.
Looking forward helps us to see where we are going. This is when we ask ourselves what we would like the future to look like and how we would like to be remembered.
And then there is the time to turn our thoughts to looking at the Now. It’s where we add the lessons of the past to our hopes for the future, and identify what needs to change now.
This is our opportunity to find our place and purpose in the world.
In these pages you will find more questions than answers. Because it’s in the asking of the questions that we find the answers.
I’m a proud Australian and I would love a national day to celebrate Australia. In unity. On a day that can be meaningful and inclusive for all who live here.

She is fairy tale and fact, flawless and at fault,
a desire, a dream, an impossibility, an enigma,
She is the Mother Heart.
In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I love words 🙂 Sometimes I’ll hear a line from a movie or a song and it’s like someone has shot an arrow right into my heart. This is particularly true when those words remind me that happiness is simple. It’s a daily decision. That’s how it
Understanding Privilege Am I Priveleged? The first time I used the term White Privilege I managed to deeply offend a close friend. I was surprised by his response, and I guess for that reason it’s not a term I like to use. However the fact remains that I am privileged and while there is privilege

Recently it was Reconciliation Week in Australia. And it began with National Sorry Day, the day we recognise the Stolen Generation. But the day, and the week, came and went without mention. It was different to other years. Perhaps everyone was preoccupied with COVID19. Perhaps. Not so with ANZAC Day the month before. There was

‘Authentic’ seems to be a bit of a buzz word lately. But what does it really mean? Does anyone know how to be authentic? Do we really want it and do we honestly respect it when we see it? I often define Authentic as Being Real. It’s a ‘What you see is what you get’

I’ve been asked, by more than one person, why I’ve been so vocal on Social Media lately about identity, culture, and black lives mattering. The short answer is, Because I’ve been hurting. At first I thought the hurt came from Empathy, in response to the stories of my Indigenous and African brothers and sisters. But

A few years ago I attended a business conference for women and the theme was Unmask Your True Potential. Many of the workshops were on how to love yourself, and finding your strengths. On the last day the presenter had the room buzzing with anticipation, and a little fear, as he had asked us to
I think it’s fair to say the whole world is in crisis at the moment. I often hear people talking about things ‘getting back to normal’ and until recently I was one of those people. The ‘Normal’ of life before this crisis was my light at the end of the tunnel. Until someone mentioned that
